Jeff Snelling's Bio

I would like to thank the MVBD Chamber Board for considering me and nominating me for a position on the board.  I’ve been a member of the Chamber since 2009 and welcome the opportunity to serve my fellow members.

I am the owner and president of plumThumb Web Design & Hosting, after a 14 year career at Microsoft as a Lead Program Manager.  I am originally from Springfield, Missouri, where I graduated from Drury University with a Business / Economics BS degree.  I moved to Everett, WA in 1989 via Boeing in Wichita, KS as a Manufacturing Engineer.  I am passionate about helping people in both their business and in life.  As a member of Rotary International and Maple Valley Rotarian since 2002, I have actively been involved in humanitarian projects both locally and internationally.

I currently live in Ravensdale, WA with my wife Susan and our 13 year-old Lab.

Maple Valley Creative Arts Council

Rise & Shine is an annual fundraiser bringing together artists, community members, collectors, donors, and friends to celebrate MVCAC's mission to promote and appreciate the arts in our community and schools.

Silent and Live Auctions, Holiday Shopping, Make-A-Gift, Breakfast, AND SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL ARTS! We can't think of a better way to wake up on a crisp December Saturday morning. Can you?

Start things off with coffee and perusing the Silent Auction from 8:30 to 9:00 am. While fueling for the day with a scrumptious breakfast from 9:00 to 10:00, we'll have a small Live Auction. The Silent Auction will continue after the Breakfast, during which time you'll also be able to shop this year's Bazaar for original art and holiday gifts - or stop by one of our local vendors and artists who are offering an on-site Make-A-Gift opportunity for around $10.00 each.

Tickets are only $25.00 each and children 12 and under eat FREE! All proceeds (except for the Make-A-Gift) benefit Maple Valley Creative Arts Council. TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE!
