Black Diamond Labor Days (September 3-4) is a great way to reach out to new clients/customers. Each year, the Chamber sponsors a booth and we want YOU (our members) to get your information out to prospective clients. There are many people that attend this 100 year old celebration each year. Take advantage by either having your marketing materials at our booth or better yet, be there in person! Get creative - bring a game for people to play or give away swag with your logo on it. Think of it as an Expo and have fun with it. Sign up for a 2 hour slot at the Chamber's booth and market your business. Ideally, we would like to have 2 different businesses in the booth at any one time. Booth times during Black Diamond Labor Days are Sunday, September 3rd from 10am-4pm and Monday, September 4th from 10am-4pm. There is no cost to participate - just your time. read more

The Greater Maple Valley-Black Diamond Chamber of Commerce will honor three outstanding community businesses at the new Chamber Gala on Friday, September 15th at Rein Fire Ranch. We are looking for nominations for the 2017 Business of the Year award, 2017 New Business of the Year award and 2017 Chamber Member of the Year award. Click here to be directed to our survey. Join us for the Chamber's annual Wacky and Wild Golf Challenge on Wednesday, July 19th! The name says it all: this isn't your run of the mill golf tournament. We invite you to don your wackiest and tackiest outfit and prepare for a round of whimsicality. There are different challenges on most holes. Everyone can play - so get a group together or let us know if you are a single player and we'll get you assigned to a team. It's always a Wacky and Wild time! read more

Rob Morrow, Superintendent of the Tahoma School District will also be giving the group an update on the all the new changes happening in the District next school year! Catering is by Stockton's.
