It's our favorite time of year - summer! And that means Wacky & Wild.....On Wednesday, July 18th, the Wacky & Wild Golf Tournament will be held at Lake Wilderness Golf Course. It's a day filled with fun, networking and golf (sort of). There are many ways to be involved: put a foursome together and register as a team, have your business sponsor one of the many Wacky activities and/or volunteer as a course marshal - you get to drive a golf cart! Keep an eye out for your Greater Maple Valley Black Diamond Chamber Board of Directors ballot in the mail! Ballots are due by 5pm on Wednesday, May 6th and can either be sent, faxed or hand delivered to our office. The three new board members will begin their 3-year term at the July 10th board meeting. Maple Valley Days (June 8-10) is a great way to reach out to new clients/customers. Each year, the Chamber sponsors a booth and we want YOU (our members) to get your information out to prospective clients. There are thousands of people that attend this event each year. Take advantage by either having your marketing materials at our booth or better yet, be there in person! Sign up for a 2 1/2 hour slot at the Chamber's booth and market your business. read more
